Arizona Trail

The Arizona Trail (AZT) navigates from the Mexico-Arizona border to the Utah-Arizona border, some 800 miles. Crossing the Grand Canyon and passing the San Francisco Peaks atop the Colorado Plateau, the trail cuts south through the Mazatzal, Four Peaks, Superstition, Pusch Ridge, Saguaro, Mount Wrightson, and Miller Peak Wilderness Areas of the Sonoran Desert. The Arizona Trail provides a true and honest impression of the southwestern mountain desert.

In Fall of 2023, I intend to hike southbound beginning at the state border. Below, I document my hike in successive blog posts.
